OUTREACH PROGRAMS OF
The Anglican Church of the
Resurrection
1 Provide support for the uprising Church Street Ministry in
downtown Tulsa. Prepare garlic bread, provide bottled water, collect clothing, blankets and other
miscellaneous items for the “Feed”
2 Domestic Violence Intervention Service (DVIS), sewing and
knitting garments for children sheltered by DVIS and collect adult clothing for DVIS.
3 Volunteer Work for the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma
located in Tulsa. This organization collects packages and distributes almost 10 million pounds of food to
partner programs feeding more that 60,000 people per week, the equivalent of 621,000 meals per
month.

4 Provide Thanksgiving food for needy
family
5 Provide Christmas food baskets for needy families and gifts for
the children
6 Greeting Card ministry, Birthday, anniversary and get well
cards sent to all of the congregation
7 Fabricate and Distribute wood crosses to be placed in the front
yards or gardens of people’s homes to make a small quiet but powerful statement of our Christian
faith.
